sketchbook

I have reasons to believe this is from July 2012.  I'm coming nearer to the end of a period of only occasional sketch book use.  Since this spring I have been sketching more.  Still not enough... when is it ever enough? Never! that's when.  I say that with a smile.

Cowboy Quickie

Ok, one more.

Appaloosa

I was trying out some new techniques.  It was initially going to be very flat and simple... but I got a little carried away.  This is not the kind of man that you want to see walking toward you.  Mostly because it would look very strange with those teeny tiny legs.
